ACTION REQUIRED: Update Direct Deposit Information & Financial Aid Disbursements Paused

July 12-July 27:  During the transition period, two Direct Deposit tools will be available—the TritonLink Direct Deposit tool and the TSS My Bank Accounts App. Direct Deposit information will not automatically transfer to the new system and must be updated after July 12, 2026. All students must re-enroll in TSS to receive refunds issued on or after August 6, 2026

Choose the correct tool based on the expected refund date:

• For refunds issued before August 6, 2026: Update banking information using the TritonLink Direct Deposit Tool. This tool is not available for Fall 2026 Incoming Students. Any changes or enrollments made in the TSS Direct Deposit tool will not affect refunds prior to August 6, 2026.
• For refunds On or After August 6, 2026: Use the TSS My Bank Accounts App.  Students who enroll in direct deposit for the first time or update their direct deposit information in TSS before August 6 will have those changes take effect on August 6, 2026.

For graduate financial support stipends disbursed before August 27, 2026: Update your banking information using the TritonLink Direct Deposit tool. Changes made in TSS will not be used for stipends disbursed before August 27. This tool is not available for Fall 26 incoming students.

• For graduate financial support stipends disbursed after August 27, 2026: Use the TSS My Bank Accounts App. Students who enroll in direct deposit for the first time or update their direct deposit information in TSS before August 27 will have those changes take effect on August 27, 2026.
• !! NOTE !!: Graduate students who are also active employees will receive stipend disbursements according to direct deposit setup in UCPath. Be sure UCPath direct deposit information is up to date. Please contact your graduate program with any questions.

July 29 - August 5: All financial aid disbursements must be temporarily paused to ensure all student billing information transfers accurately securely to the new Triton Student System.

• Financial aid disbursements are expected to resume beginning August 7. Eligible disbursements will be processed as quickly as possible once the transition is complete, provided you have met all eligibility requirements.
• Note: If you are expecting a financial aid disbursement during this period, please plan accordingly, as you will experience a delay in receiving your funds.  
• Financial aid disbursements for Summer Session 2 begin on July 25, 2026. To ensure your summer session aid disburses by July 28, 2026 in advance of the disbursement pause, we recommend that students:

• Do not make any changes to their summer session enrollment after July 10, 2026

• • Complete all financial aid requirements via the financial aid portal 
  • Be enrolled in at least 6 units
