The Real Estate system went live in March 2019. Visit the Real Estate website for current information and support.The technological infrastructure needed to support the real estate portfolio of an institution as diverse and rapidly growing as UC San Diego is insufficient. We currently face:
- An outdated and inflexible Real Estate Lease Management system (RELM) database
- No communication across systems
- Inconsistent workflows and processes
- An inability to:
- report in a timely manner
- receive advance notifications of critical lease dates and required actions
- forecast revenues and expenses related to the leased portfolio
