Disclosure Process During Kuali System Migration

Dear Research Administrator,

This notice is to provide you with important information regarding the COI disclosure process during the EPD/Coeus-to-Kuali Research (KR) system migration scheduled from 12 p.m. Tuesday, January 14 to 7 a.m. Tuesday, January 21, 2020. 

COI Disclosures During Migration

Non-Coeus projects
(Gifts, MTAs, Service Agreements and Unfunded Agreements, etc.)


Paper COI disclosures (700U and Addendum)

Up to 5 p.m. Friday, January 17 – 
Accepted by the COI Office.

5 p.m. Friday, January 17 to 7 a.m. Tuesday, January 21
– 
Kuali migration period: no paper disclosures and will need to be completed in the Kuali COI System.

After 7 a.m. Tuesday, January 21
– 
Kuali COI system disclosures will be required.

Projects entered in Coeus (Sponsored Research)

After 7 a.m. Tuesday, January 14 through 7 a.m. Tuesday, January 21
PDF COI disclosures (PHS, PHS Supplement, 700U, 9510 and Addendum) will NO longer be accepted by the COI Office.

To avoid delay in release of funds, submit required COI disclosures prior to the start of EPD/Coeus to Kuali Research migration.

7 a.m. Tuesday, January 21
COI disclosures will be required to be completed in the Kuali COI System. 

This includes “In Process” proposals that have transferred from Coeus to KR, even if a paper disclosure has already been provided to the COI Office.
 
If the COI Office receives a paper PHS, 700U and/or 9510 that is positive and has not received the PHS Supplement and/or Addendum by 7 a.m. on Tuesday, January 14, the PHS, 700U and/or 9510, disclosure will need to be re-entered in the Kuali COI System in addition to completing the Supplement and/or Addendum questions.
