UC OATS: Departments Achieve 100% Compliance; New Features Coming
Congratulations to the Department of Literature and the Department of Pediatrics in Health Sciences—both were the only departments to have 100% compliance for 2018-19 reporting in the Online Activities Tracking System (OATS) by the November 2019 deadline.
UC Oats is the faculty solution for entry, review and pre-approval of activites they engage in outside of their work on campus. We continue to improve the user experience for the UC OATS system. A significant enhancement in 2020 will be the automatic highlighting of the “Academic Year” toggle at the top of the page. This new feature will provide a faster and smoother UC OATS experience for all faculty users.
Finally, the UC OATS on-demand training courses for APM 025 and APM 671 Faculty, Reviewer and Approver roles have been updated and will be available on the UC Learning Center by the end of this month.
Look for more UC OATS news and enhancements later this year!
