UCPath Training to Move Online

Effective March 16, 2020, the UCPath Training Team is suspending all in-person training until further notice in alignment with campus efforts to reduce in-person gatherings as the COVID-19 situation evolves. This includes all upcoming bootcamps and funding courses, as well as open lab sessions.

We are vigorously developing an online self-paced version of our training that will be available via the LMS.

  • The UCPath BootCamp content will be covered through a series of videos. For those to whom it applies, you will be required to complete the series and pass the competency test to be provisioned for UCPath access.
  • The Funding Fundamentals course will be a single video course.
Unfortunately, the online training cannot be as interactive as our in-person version and does not include the option of Q&A with an instructor. However, it allows us to provide a way for you to acquire the knowledge you need before the UCPath deployment. As soon as the online version is available, personnel needing to take it will receive an email with a direct link for registration in the LMS. The timeline for the conversion of the F2 Funding Deep Dive Course and the F3 Funding Direct Retro Only Course is still to be determined.

The UCPath Training Team’s first priority is the safety of the UC San Diego population, and the team’s efforts will be directed toward providing you with the knowledge you need while, at the same time, doing our part to mitigate the spread of COVID-19.

Moving forward, please check the UCPath website regularly for updates. If you have any questions please email us at ucpathproject@ucsd.edu.
