UCPath Is Here
On June 1, both UC San Diego and UC San Francisco will go live with UCPath, the UC-wide human resources and payroll system. This will mean that all locations except the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL), which will deploy later in the summer, will be actively using UCPath
UCPath introduces new technology to UC San Diego that supports future growth, enhances data integrity and improves compliance. UCPath will bring benefits for employees that include the UCPath online self-service portal, a higher level of security and enhanced functionality, 24/7 availability and mobile device access.
Employees can manage their personal information, benefits, payroll deductions and direct deposit; monitor leave balances; and view their earnings statements from virtually anywhere at any time. UC San Diego employees will have access to UCPath online on June 1.
Employees will need to authenticate using their Business Systems Account, and, at their first login, set up five security questions. This helps verify identity and prevent unauthorized access or changes to employee financial or personal information and health benefits.
UCPath Training and Orientation Sessions
The UCPath team is providing two new opportunities for employees to prepare to transition to UCPath.
For Transactors
Zoom-A-Day Review Sessions started Monday, May 18 and will run every weekday from 2:30-3:30 p.m. through the first week in June. If you have completed BootCamp, hop on a Zoom call to keep that knowledge fresh. All transactors identified for provisioning will receive an email with the Zoom URL.
See session topics and schedule.
For All Employees
UCPath Express Zoom sessions started Monday, May 18 and will run every weekday from 9:30-10:30, through the first week in June. UCPath brings changes to everyone who works at UC San Diego.
Attend a session to learn how to prepare now, where to log in on June 1, and how to get help if you have questions or need assistance. This session will also be recorded and available on the website.
