EDMS Brainware

The OnBase EDMS Brainware module and its Unity Data Comparison Forms expedite verification of over 45,000 incoming official transcripts for approximately 10,000 new students for the Office of Admissions. Brainware helps achieve accuracy and consolidate current workflow processes into a more streamlined format.

Using Optical Character Recognition (OCR), rules-based logic and data extraction, it is estimated that Brainware will reduce admissions review time by 30% as admissions officers will no longer need to manually read every course on a transcript. The Unity Data Comparison form will highlight the discrepancies between the official transcript and the student’s self-reported coursework based upon well-defined criteria.

The Office of the Registrar will also utilize Brainware for evaluation and posting of incoming transferable credit for continuing student transcripts.

Project Governance

Project Governance provides leadership support to the project team and ensures decisions are made in accordance with Guiding Principles.
