The Enterprise Document Management System (EDMS) is designed to improve workflows and optimize business processes related to retention of documents for university and Health business units.

Using the OnBase product by Hyland, EDMS securely stores campus documents that need to be retained for legal and regulatory purposes, such as contracts and agreements, human resources records, policy documents and more.

EDMS:

  • Brings the university closer to being a paperless environment
  • Improves security and access control for critical documents
  • Establishes a central document repository that will become the university system of record

EDMS Brainware

The Hyland Brainware module allows direct scanning and intelligent Optical Character Recognition (OCR) for easier processing of student transcripts. Learn more about the Brainware project.
