TEA Batch Authorization is Here

We are pleased to announce that TEA Batch Authorization is now live! This functionality allows advising staff to apply authorization override(s) to individual students or groups of students without requiring the students to submit a TEA Request.

Provisioning:

The TSS Project team is working to provision necessary roles with TSS Batch Authorization over the coming days and no later than the morning of Thursday, August 13. We appreciate your patience as we get all necessary users provisioned.

Training Materials:

A newly released job aid is available! Review it here: TEA Batch Authorization Job Aid.

Synchronous Working Session for Batch Authorizations:

To support the launch of the Batch Authorization app, please join us for a virtual working session to learn how to use the application and get real-time support for your batch authorizations. We recommend reviewing the job aid before the session, if possible.

Advisor TEA Time Office Hours:

Drop-in for real-time support with processing or troubleshooting live TEA transactions.

Mass Action:

Although Batch Authorization is now live, Mass Action also remains available in TEA as a separate feature within TEA Review. Mass Action allows users to process multiple existing TEA requests at once without opening each one individually. Unlike Batch Authorization, Mass Action requires an existing TEA request before taking action in bulk.

If you have any questions about the working session, please contact esr-student@ucsd.edu. For technical support with TEA or TSS, please submit a ticket at tss@ucsd.edu

We thank you for your patience for this function to be implemented and we look forward to seeing you at the working session.
